i personally am getting ready for disappointment since I love the book so much...I figure nothing will be able to come close.
I've had that experience too. So far I've refused to watch any film adaptation of Little Women or Jane Eyre because I have such close personal associations with these books; what director and actors could match my imaginative recreation of the characters? It's the burden of the reader. :-)
