Evil Genius by Catherine Jinks, one of our upcoming books, has been nominated for the Teens' Top Ten List, sponsored by the American Library Association. The Teens' Top Ten is a "teen choice" award: if you've read the nominated books, you're invited to cast your vote during Teen Read Week, Oct 12-18.
In order to give the Gryffindors an opportunity to vote on this book, we'll be reading Evil Genius in October rather than November as we'd originally planned. Please see the box on the right for an updated schedule.
The subtheme for this year's Teen Read Week is "Books with Bite @ Your Library." Check out the nominees for the Teens' Top Ten --you'll recognize some of them!

SWEET! I love new book lists! =P
I've actually read several of these and others I've read the pequles... (sp??)
anyways, have you read city of bones?? that's a really good one I thought. not sure I liked the ending, but I'm a hopeless romantic... and I haven't yet read the second one that has been put out yet either. looking forward to reading that one eventually.
I'M REALLY EXCITED! I'm making/listening to the playlists for the books! they are amazing! I just thought you'd like to know.. Also I'd like to try and give these to you this week so that if Thom wants to use them for the release party he can... so far there is only one song that I can't find. But I'm only halfway through the second book's playlist.. so we'll see!
No, I haven't read City of Bones, but I just finished Jinx by Meg Cabot (another book on the nominee list)--liked it a lot!
Yes, I'd love to have a CD of the Twilight playlists. Only a few more days...
